Yes, feel free to be in a thread in the Dream Wolrd and one in the Real World. Just have a basic idea of the timeline in your head. Don't have too many threads though as I can imagine it getting quite chronologically confusing.
As for plot pages: Jiro, Shou, don't worry too much about it. It's quite an embellishment really. Basically it's just a way to keep track of your character's relationships with other characters. Mark, it would be wonderful if you write an Introduction to Plot Pages! If you post it I will sticky it.

Hey, guys, realize that you don't have to do fancy plot pages. I did a few because I felt like the odd ball out. But I personally am to lazy to put the time and energy into it. You can a none fancy plot page such as this, minus the code. That way people can just respond with things like "Oh! I think Benji and my character can get along/or be annoyed with each other" and then either work out the details there or PM each other for more. If it makes people feel better we could make two sub-boards? One for the pretty plots with codes and one for the less confusing coding plots?

Hello again, I don't think this was covered anywhere but I may have missed it.
Since the second square is a replica of Somnium, does it actually function as something pertaining to the Dream World too? Like a school or Dream World housing or what not? Or is it just kinda an empty building?

It's more of an empty building, perhaps overgrown with ivy and a bit in ruins. It may be possible to get ghosts of the real world academy appearing though.

Speaking of ghosts, I suggest empty corridors in the far east wing where there is rumors of ghosts!
^-^
And.... I kind of want to draw, or commission someone to draw *stares pointedly at her boyfriend whose an architect major* the layout of the school. :]

Map of the school sounds cool! Speaking of ghosts it sounds like something Shou would be mistaken for with the whole disappearing and reappearing in the wind thing. Oh yeah, do all dream beings live in the 4th square or can they live somewhere else like in the 2nd or something?

No, not all Dream Beings live in the Fourth Square. Chris's water nymph for example lives in the Sixth Square and I do believe Lucifer Morningstar has a hut on the edge of the Mists in the Third Square. And of course The King and his Jester (once we have a Jester again *sheds a tear*) live in the castle on the Fifth Square.

Just wondering.. What's the Dream world called? Do dream beings call it the dream world too and do Dream being know that they're dream beings? Did that make sense? Sorry for so many questions.

Well he'd be leaving the school wouldnt he? (Year 13) See, that's what I was worried about for Meredith. Can we assume those of us who want to who just signed up and stuff that the year we put down is instead for THIS year? And not for the last? So, even though Meredith is listed as 13th, since it's mid-summer, she was just moved to 13th, so there's an overlap of students right now until those who want to move on and consider themselves alumni do so and those of us who haven't really played at all enough to even experience the school stay? It's not that I mind BEING alumni, it's just that I mind not ever getting a chance to play my character as I wrote them--does that make sense? And I think an overlap would make sorta sense since it IS midsummer?

That's a cool idea, but I'd still want to play her as the year I wrote her for a while, rather than coming in on the leaving point, y'know?

I have no received word from November, but for now, consider the 13th years as though they're entering their 13th year. Yeah...
I'm sorry. I just don't want to make a definite decision without her.

Yeah I did. For some reason I overlooked it amongst other emails.
For everyone who had the question about what was going to happen with the 13th years, here is what November has suggested for the moment:
"As for SoD's timeline: as you said it's in real time but I think the graduation of students etc. should be at the member's discretion. As in if they want their character to age then they can but if they want them to stay the same age then they can too. Oh and students can go home during holidays, but we can sort of speed over that time or something."
She's going to think of graduation and what not. For for now this is how we'll do it. You, the RPer has the decision to age your character in whatever ways you want. When November comes back, we'll sort out the best course of action for that sort of thing.
Thank you.

No hurry on this, but Aries would like to be reassigned dorms to a room with a.. not inactive and dead roomie.

The dorm assignments are going to be redone/double checked soon as part of the process associated with the activities check. So if you haven't been assigned to a room or you're roomed with someone who didn't reply to the check, please be patient. In the mean time *points* Look! something shiny and distracting! ;D

Question!!!! (its been a while so I'm feeling all nostalgic and giddy, which now that I think about it is probably creepy)
Are the dorms in a separate building from the Academy? (and as a followup depending on that answer) Are the male / female dorms in separate buildings or just separate wings? (and finally) What about the staff dorms?
Weee! That was fun!

Yus they are ^_^ and the female dorms are in a separate wing.
Staff dorms are also in a separate wing of the same building.
(I sort of made this up as I wrote it but now it's solid!)

Unfortunately not. I'm just going by the rules that most British boarding schools would have, in order to keep it semi-realistic (a part from, you know, that whole dream thing) XD

I don't think that would be a problem (and was actually thinking of doing it myself.) I know that people with teachers and students have put both characters together in a classroom type thread, so it has happened before.

Just a thought. I was wondering about a board for clubs. You know, like after school, extra curriculum clubs. Like for example: cooking club, archery club, book club, poetry, car mechanics, chess, Karate...etc. The possibilities are endless, and seem like a great way to meet people as well as have some super fun threads. Thoughts?
