Tetroneaque couldn't remember ever coming to this area before. That isn't to say he'd never been here though, he simply couldn't remember. Thus, it made this particular area rather appealing. What better place to find something you're looking for than in a place you haven't looked yet? At least that was Tetroneaque's reasoning on the subject. Plus the building looked like it might be fun to explore.
The Kitsune had been exploring the building for about an hour before he finally decided to take a rest in what appeared to be some sort of dorm room. There was a pair of bunk beds and a few items of interest. In fact it looked like someone came here regularly, or even lived here. Tetroneaque didn't care though, as the whole building seemed the same way. Yet so far he hadn't seen anyone or anything to even ask directions.
Tetroneaque jumped up, and flopped down on the top bunk bed. He was laying on his stomach, facing the doorway.
"I might as well make myself comfortable. It's not like there's anyone around anyway." He stated to himself, taking off his robe, gloves, boots, and mask. He tossed his clothing on a nearby chair and simply laid on the bed, his three tails swishing about like they each had a mind of their own. He was technically naked, but it wouldn't matter to him if someone walked in as his fuzziness hid anything of interest anyway. In fact, he really detested wearing clothes when he didn't have to.
"That's more like it." He murred happily, stretching like a lazy cat.
"Maybe a short nap and the I can continue exploring this place." He mumbled and closed his eyes, letting his mind wander.

Baku had only once before entered the Second Square that held the shadow of Somnium Academy. Quite frankly, it was way too eerie. It always felt as though at any corner she could run into her real self, or if she were to enter her dorm room she’d see herself sleeping there, or maybe someone else.
Her reason for being there was that she heard Shou took up shop in the infirmary. She wasn’t expecting anything from him other than a conversation, but when she arrived to the place that was normally Ehrlich’s, Shou was no where to be found. Baku didn’t understand the wind chimes, and so she decided to do something that she wouldn’t normally do: head up to the dorms.
She hadn’t a clue why but she was bored and honestly, for some reason unknown to herself, she felt compelled. Maybe she was there, sleeping. The real version of herself, the one she considered complete. If so, what would happen if she were to attempt to awaken herself? Baku shivered.
225 hung on the door as they always did, but somehow she felt as though they were haunted. The door stood slightly ajar, and while her heart began to rise, she found herself pushing the door open and cautiously entering the room, certain that she was making the whole situation much more frightening than it really was. Certain that in all actuality, there was no one on her bed, ghost or shadow or otherwise.
But when she approached her bed, she jumped in alarm. In fact, though it was delayed, Baku screamed. There she was… well, no, not her. Some version of her? A furry version of her? Somehow, when she realized that it wasn’t her, it wasn’t relief that she felt. There was something sleeping in her bed. She screamed again.

Tetroneaque's eyes shot wide open as he woke and let out a surprised yell of his own. He reached for his dagger, which wasn't there as he'd already disrobed. He did the first thing that came to mind in his surprised state, he threw the pillow on the bed at the person who had woke him up. As the pillow was still hurtling through the air he leaped across the room to land near his belongings, yanking his dagger out of the pile and standing ready to fight if it came to it.

Wings flapped pitifully in front of her as she realized an object was being hurtled in her direction. Panic surged through her. Was she going to die or just wake up? Was either possible?
And then something soft struck her on the shoulder, grazing the thorn embedded there and causing Baku to call out in slight pain. She quickly realized that it was a pillow, but the thorn still had an unfortunate habit of throbbing whenever it found contact.
Still on alert, Baku looked about and found a very fury creature (it seemed as thought it was a cat with many tails) holding a dagger in her direction. Her eyes widened. Obviously the danger wasn’t over yet. Why the hell did she come here? She should have just left as soon as she realized Shou wasn’t around.
”Don’t hurt me…” she mutter softly. Baku couldn’t believe she was so pathetic, but soon she wasn’t really thinking straight. The panic was taking her over. She was breathing heavily, almost gasping. She wasn’t there quite yet, but she almost was. She was almost back in that dark closet…

Tetroneaque finally managed to get a good look at his assailant, only to realize they didn't look particularly dangerous. In fact, they looked kind of pitiful. The kitsune lowered his dagger slowly, his three tails thrashing about in anxiety. He eyed the bird-girl suspiciously though, as she had just burst into the room screaming... which was very rude to do to someone napping.
"Who are you, and why did you burst in here screaming like that? You really shouldn't startle someone who is napping. It's rude you know." He stated, still a bit annoyed with the whole situation.

Baku blinked at him. ”You’re the one sleeping in my… well it is, um! That’s my bed in another universe! Of course I was scared!”
She got up and looked at the weird cat man and tried to calm herself. ”I thought maybe it was a ghost of myself or something… so I was startled”.

Tetroneaque cast a glare at the noisy newcomer as he slid his dagger back into it's holder. He did not look amused.
"You do realize how crazy that makes you sound right? I should know, I deal with the insane and deranged pretty much daily." He began as he started putting his clothes back on.
"And how do I look like a ghost? Does every ghost have giant purple fox tails?" He swished his three tails about in annoyance as if to punctuate the message. Tetroneaque seemed to be a very grouchy fellow when he was awakened.
"Well I'm up now. What exactly did you mean this is your bed in another universe? There's only one universe as far as I know. That's why its a universe and not a bi-verse."

Baku blinked. Yes, she did sound crazy. But the Dream World was crazy, wasn’t it? Though it seemed that this furry guy didn’t seem to know about Somnium. Which wasn’t that strange, she guessed.
”Parallel universe. At least, I suspect so. It’s supposed to be theory, but I happen to live in a world very unlike this world. And when I go to sleep, I come here. With other people who attend the same school as me.”

Tetroneaque quirked one fuzzy eyebrow at the bird-like girl.
"That sounds interesting. You're not just messing around with me are? Nah, you don't seem like the type to mess around with anyone and get away with it." Tetroneaque stroked his chin a few times as if deep in thought and then snapped his attention back to the girl.
"Tell me more about this other world please, that is if you don't mind. Also, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tetroneaque Swiftpaw Tailchaser, but most just call me Tetro for short. Don't call me Tet though... seriously don't do it."
