The room around Liotta spun as she blinked twice. When her vision cleared, she noticed that she was in the dining hall...again. "You've got to be kidding me!" Liotta yelled, an echo of her voice filling the room. Quickly remembering where she was, the girl shut her greens eyes and lowered her head, afraid to look around in the case that someone was staring. Liotta, you're such a dummy-head. She thought to herself. This was about the sixth time today that she found herself in here. It was weird. Or maybe she was just a 'dummy-head', but, it was as if something was pulling her to the dining hall. Whether it be that she loved food or that she way just hungry, it happens way too much for it to go unnoticed.
After about five minutes, Liotta raised her head, seeing that there were only five or six other people in the room, not including her. She sighed loudly and pulled a small, beaten, brown teddy bear out of her back jean pocket. Smiling weakly, Liotta spoke. Tears started to form in her eyes. "Mr. Teddy, I'm so confused. Plus, all of my stashed cookies are gone." The girl sniffed. "My cookies. What's a girl to do?"

Chad sat in the dining hall with an apple held firmly in his hand. He wore his headphones with the i-pod turned on. The volume was turned down low, only used as a background as he ate his lunch.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Quickly he struck a glance toward a girl. He continued to stare as she lowered her head. What the hell was that about? He turned away from her and took another bite of the apple. After a few minutes he noticed her finally raising her head. He continued to watch curious about what would happen next.
She pulled a small stuffed bear out and began to cry. That just made his curiosity worse and he wanted to know what was wrong. He stood up and walked over to the girl. Once he reached her he gave a gentle smile so he would not frighten her. "Excuse me. Can I ask what is bothering you?" He wasn't one to turn a blind eye to someone in need.

Liotta sat for minutes, motionless, as she cried silently. Between her whimpers, she heard herself saying the word 'hate' over and over again. It was funny. She loved the fact that she was different and unique but she hated that she was overly different, although, there was nothing she could do about it.
Out of the blue, Liotta started hearing footsteps and stiffened. She hoped that no one had heard her little outburst earlier. Walk past me. Walk past me. Walk past me. Liotta frantically chanted in her mind but to no avail. The footsteps stopped next to her.
"Excuse me. Can I ask what is bothering you?" She heard a male voice above her. Liotta looked up slightly before turning away to brush her hands over her face, wiping away her tears. Facing the stranger again, she gave a fake smile. "Uh, thanks, but, I'm fine. Nothing is bothering me at all." Her voice came out shaky from her recent weeping session. Liotta was a terrible liar but what was she supposed to say? Hi, I'm Liotta Mahrana and most of my brain resembles that of a seven year old's so when I get even the tiniest bit upset, I cry. No. That's not exactly the response someone would expect and it's not like she can control what age her brain wants her to be. She just wants to seem as normal as possible.
"There is just a lot going through my mind right now. I'm sorry if I disturbed you." Liotta scratched her head, positioned her bear back into her pocket, and smiled. As she settled back into her seat comfortably, a thought popped into Liotta's head. "Cookies." She whispered as quietly as she could.
(OOC: Sorry to end with cookies...again.)

His head slightly tilted like a confused animal once he heard her reply. He could easily tell she was lying, but he wasn't going to push the girl to say what was on her mind. "Oh. Alright."
He stood there quietly and tried to put his attention on something else. And now I will walk away.... now.... and now.... Why the hell does this always happen! Chad considered this his weakness. Anyone troubled always caused him to want to help. He guessed it was because of his past.
He turned his attention back to the girl once she spoke again. "Oh, no big deal." You just gave me a heart attack that's all... he grinned at the thought.
Everything went quiet again. He wanted to leave and forget about what just happened but then again he wanted to help if he could. He rubbed the back of his head and smiled. "Uh... Mind if I sit with you? If you don't want me to that is fine." Maybe she would decline and just maybe he could finally go.

Liotta closed her eyes, breathing calmly, as a wave of relief washed over her. She loved people who didn't press her about her problems. Keeping to herself was one of her most noticed qualities. She didn't prefer being bothered.
Opening her eyes as the boy asked to sit, she raised an eyebrow questioningly. Why are you asking me if you can sit? I don't care, it's a free country. Do whatever floats your boat. "Sure. I don't mind. Take a seat." Liotta waved her hand over the spot next to her. It was something she learned as a little girl: always be courteous.
The girl stood and skipped childishly over to an open area in the room. She started pacing in a circle, stretching her legs. She didn't know how long she had been sitting but, her legs muscles ached as she walked. Liotta, then, proceeded to sit back down. Checking out the other sights in the dining hall, Liotta began to hum to herself before remembering her manners and faced the boy again. "I'm Liotta, by the way."

Dammit! Well that didn't work... He was a little disappointed but hey, might as well enjoy it. After the girl gave her permission, Chad replied, "Uh thanks..." he rubbed the back of his head and smiled before sitting down next to her.
When the girl skipped to the center of the room and began circling, he sat there a bit confused. She seems a little... Childish. He turned to watch her till she returned to her seat. "I'm Liotta, by the way." He sat there for a few moments emotionless before giving a slight smile, "I'm Chad. Nice to meet you Liotta." He took another bite of his apple before noticing her without anything. "Forget something? You not have anything?"

A small smile crossed LIotta's face as the guy next to her introduced himself. ...Chad? What kind of name is Chad? It's so... Liotta thought before mentally slapping herself. Stop it Liotta, that's mean. Not everyone has strange parents like you do. Normal people give their children normal names. "It's nice to meet you too."
She placed her arm upright on the table and rested her chin on her hand. A sigh had barely escaped her lips when Chad had spoken again. His statement caught her by surprise. "Ah, no. And I didn't forget. I usually don't eat anything when I'm here. I just relax. Plus, I'm a picky eater." She chuckled before going silent for a few minutes. For some reason she replayed the recent situation over in her head. "I'm sorry. Do I talk too much? My bad. I'll shut up." Liotta put herself in check. "Sometimes when I speak I start to ramble."

Chad smiled to her before turning away to look around the room. As he waited for her answer, she caught his attention once she sighed. "Oh alright. I was just curious." Ok she is fine I can go now nothing to feel bad about... He jerked when he heard her next reply, he had almost forgot she was there. "No your fine." he replied "Don't worry it is ok." He began to stand up again till he felt guilt again. He relaxed as he sat back down. "So... been to the Dream World yet?" he questioned. ((Writers Block...))

Every now and then while Liotta was blanking out, she noticed the boy-Chad raise himself from his seat and then sit back down. Her eyes stayed glued on him waiting to see if he was going to leave or not. So indecisive. She laughed slightly. He's funny.
Liotta looked away when he started to speak. "Ah, no I haven't." She lowered her eyes to the table. "I'm weird like that. I overly energetic and for some reason I haven't slept since I've been here. That's a week ,so, when I do go I'll be there for a while." She laughed again, louder this time. "Have you been?"Pulling a pack of gum out of her front pocket, Liotta slowly hesitated on taking a piece. This could ruin my appetite for later. She thought. Shrugging it off, the girl unwrapped the spearmint slab and popped it in her mouth. She proceeded to replace the pack but stopped and slid it over to her company. "Want a piece?"

"I guess you can say I've day dreamed. I've only seen it for a minute and then wake up. Next time I slept it was just another normal dream. It's kind of annoying." he replied. He crossed his arms and leaned forward on the table. As he stared at the blank wall he heard her push something to him. He looked down to see a pack of gum. "Uh... sure." he pulled out one and unwrapped it, "Thanks." he then pushed it into his mouth.

Liotta took back her pack of gum and slowly positioned it in her pocket. "Welcome." Feeling the coolness of the spearmint from the gum in her mouth, the girl smiled. She hoped that the offering would calm down Chad from his annoyance of not having properly visiting the Dream World.
Once again pulling out her teddy and making him dance, Liotta started humming and swaying with her bear. "By the way, are you okay? You don't seem to speak much. Are you sick?" Liotta took her focus off of her bear for a minute before starting again. Plus, he was eating an apple. Apples keep doctors away. A childish voice crept into the edge of her conscience. Shooing it away, tried to blow a bubble with her chewing gum.
(Hope that's enough for you)

The cool spearmint flavor would have been welcoming but the taste of the apple still lingered leaving a bitter taste to the tounge. He didn't say anything though and smiled to the girl. As he sat there he pulled out his cell and stared at it as if it were about to ring. After a few moments he returned it to his pocket and looked back to see Liotta playing with the stuffed bear.
How did we start on me? Do I look that depressed? "Yeah I'm fine. Just tired I guess." he replied with a laugh. It was a lie though but he thought of himself as a good liar. Atleast he got the impression of being one. He had been hurting a little but nothing he wasn't used to already.
"So... Is that bear special to you?" he questioned pointing at the small brown bear. He almost beat himself up over his question but he was curious. By now girls her age were usually crazy about jewelry, clothes, and shoes. Not stuffed animals.
(You have nothing to worry about. It's fine.)

A small breath escaped Liotta's mouth, releasing her cold breath as she made her bear dance. She was a little surprised. Most people didn't ask about her bear. They usually tried to ignore it. "Yeah." She chuckled. "It is. My old best friend gave it to me when I was younger. It keeps me in tune with a better time when life wasn't so harsh, you know." Liotta turned to her company. "But now things have changed, so, now Mr. Bear is my best friend. I'm okay with it though because he's cute. Who couldn't resist this face?" She smiled, holding up the ragged bear in front of her face. Laying the animal on the table, Liotta frowned. "This gum is starting to taste gross to me. Excuse me." The girl slowly stood, pulled down her solid red tee, skipped across the room to a trashcan, and then skipped beck before plopping back down on the hard seat.

Chad leaned forward over he table, crossing his arms and holding himself in place. Once she spoke, he sat there for a moment with thoughts of his past. His life actually was harsh back then. He wasn't going to say anything though, "Yeah? Thats good I guess."
A stuffed bear as a friend? he thought to himself. He shrugged at the thought and let it go by. When she stood to spit out her gum. He watched her leave before turning to the blank wall. Without turning to her he gave out another question, "So what year are you, Liotta?"
((Sorry about the wait. I've been busy. -.-))

Liotta picked up Mr.Bear and held him in her lap. "Huh? Oh, twelve. Year 12." Liotta said, blinking hard. "What about you?" Liotta pressed her index finger to her right eye, trying to remove the lash from it. She hated when that happens. Why can't eyelashes stay connected to your face. They don't need to fall off. The girl shrugged.
Hearing her stomach growl, Liotta dug out another piece of gum, knowing that it wouldn't help, but trying anyway. She frowned at the taste of the gum this time and groaned. This is what she got for not eating all day. I'm so hungry. She thought, too lazy to do anything about it. She missed being home now. She missed when her parents or her friends brought her food.
(It's fine.)
