The Assembly Hall was considerably empty, considering there wasn’t any school wide event nor was there even a lecture going on. No, it was just empty and unused which was exactly the reason Benji found herself sitting in on of the auditorium chairs, staring into space.
Surprisingly, she wasn’t there because of one of her panics attacks. (In fact, those panic attacks had lessened more and more as time went on.) She just didn’t feel like going to class that day. So, she snuck into the Assembly Hall and decided to write in her journal. Only, after time, she started to space out.
It felt to her that there was a lot of figuring out she needed to do. Benji felt like she was being dramatic on one hand. After all, wasn’t it a good thing she was making real friends and starting to deal with the Dream World?
The Dream World. And all its mysteries. Shaking her head, she slouched down in her chair. Maybe she should just concentrate on being a normal kid, in an abnormal school. The thought made her laugh lightly to herself.

Jiro jumped off the long staircase and ran around the corner, he was late to class and he never missed his classes. He was just passing the Assembly Hall when his ipod fell out of his pocket. He realised immediatly and tried to stop running, but ended up skidding and tripping over his own feet.
He landed hitting his head on the ground, he swore loudly; no one was around so no one would have heard him. He got up, holding his throbbing head. He looked around, and saw his ipod on the ground near the entrance to the Assembly Hall. He walked over to it and picked it up "The things I do for you." He spoke looking at it. He was about to head for class when he looked inside the Hall, and saw someone.
What an odd place to be, he thought to himself as he walked inside. The Hall was huge, as it would be because it had to fit the whole school inside. He put his ipod back in his pocket, and started walking over to the person. He wouldn't usually do this, but he was interested in why the hell they were here.

There were footsteps softly coming towards her. Great, she thought. I’m probably about to get detention. Sighing deeply Benji turned her head and was slightly startled to see someone in her year. What was his name again? She wasn’t exactly sure.
”Oh… Hello…?” Looking at him, she wondered what he was doing here. Skipping as well, perhaps? Though usually when people choose to skip they managed to do so on the grounds, or to their rooms, some even dared to go to the empty corridors in the far east wing that were rumored to be haunted. They usually didn’t come to the Assembly Hall, probably because it was the easiest place to be caught in.
He seemed nonthreatening, which was always a plus. Though Benji had quickly learned a while ago that thought who seem the least harmless were perhaps the most dangerous. But, she was in the Assembly Hall. What could possibly go wrong?

Jiro walked over to the girl, HA she's in my year he thought to himself of course! He stopped when he came to her, "Heeeeey..... you." He said to her smiling like an idiot, first impressions count. The girl looked like she was expecting someone other than a random student who happened to go in the Assembly Hall, which he actually wanted to get out of as soon as possible.
He looked around the Hall, yeah it was a pretty weird place to be when your trying to skip class; teachers probably came in here all the time. "Sooo.... why are you in the Hall? Kind of an unusual place to be yeah?" He pulled a chair toward him and sat down, oh god he was going to be soo late for class. Or maybe he just wouldn't go, yeaaaaah he thought he might actually do that.
Jiro put his books on the ground, and got his iPod out of his pocket. He put a headphone in his ear and turned the music on, he bopped to his music as he waited for the girls reply.

He was startling. Very happy and energetic it seemed. Didn’t his name start with a J…? She was sure. Benji paid attention, she supposed, but she was also out of it a lot of times.
He was talking to her. More than that, he was sitting next to her. Unusual. But Benji wasn’t used to over friendly people. In fact, she was slightly suspicious of them. They people that were assertive in that regard are sometimes the people you can trust the least. She had obviously learned that the hard way.
Shaking her head, she told herself not to be so paranoid. She was working on this whole ‘the whole world is your enemy’ deal. And she was improving, and for the sake of improvement, she shouldn’t be getting all freaked out yet. Just wait it out before you have a melt down, she told herself.
”Unusual? I guess it’s unusual because it isn’t your typical place to skip. But that’s kind of the point,” she smiled at him slightly. Still guarded and unsure, but she felt that he hadn’t done anything that would make her be cold to him. ”It’s the obvious places that never seem so obvious.”

Okay no introduction from your then Jiro thought as he frowned to himself slightly, he would really like to know who she was, or he’d be thinking about it for the rest of the week. He put his iPod on shuffle as he watched the girl, but not in a stalking kind of way.
She shook her head and looked like she was deep in thought. Jiro wondered what she was thinking about because she looked worried, and a little on edge; which was weird because people were always so great when he was around. He moved his chair forward slightly; maybe if she was in his aura more, she’d be happier.
Jiro laughed at her comment “Hahaha, I get you. That’s so true.” Well, at least he thought it was true, it sure sounded right. He looked away as he spoke again “I guess I wouldn’t really know, I haven’t actually… um… skipped before.” He scrunched up his nose and looked at her as he chuckled “I’m so ashamed.”

Benji tilted her head in the bird like way she did from time to time. ”Oh? I guess I skip… a lot. I don’t mean to, you know. But, stuff just happens?” She laughed slightly then. ”I don’t think the teachers like to so much, but…” Benji shrugged slightly and looked around.
”If you’re normally don’t skip that I suggest you shouldn’t start now. But classes have started, so you would be late. You could always claim to be sick later?” She looked down at her hands and then took a deep breath before extending out her hand shakily, ”I’m Benji. Welcome to your first time skipping.”
