It was a beautiful morning, too beautiful to keep the fresh air outside, so the first thing Jerry did when entering his classroom was to set down his books and bag and to walk over to the large windows to open them. He smiled contently as he briefly propped his hands on the window sill looking out, noticing some students hurry across the grounds: the room ha large windows. Perfect.
He placed some working material on the student desk, copies of different works of literature, Shakespear for today, and then returned to his desk, hopped onto it and waited for his students to arrive.

Chad ran across the grounds and down the hall toward English Class. Once he caught the room in sight he slowed down and tried to catch his breath. Slowly he pushed open the door and walked in to see the teacher turning from the large windows.
A slight grin shown and gave him the appearance of one who was guilty of something. "Good morning." Well he didn't think of it being to good but he had to admit, the air was refreshing. With that he turned to the desks and took a seat in the second row, closer to the door.
Once he sat down he pulled the bag from his shoulder and took out a pen and notepad. It wasn't necessarily for the class at the moment but more of some entertainment for him till the class started. He began writing a poem. It had nothing to do with romance or the season, mostly what came to mind.

"Good morning, Chad." Jerry gave back while he watched the students slowly drift into the room. It was a rather small course, but he didn´t mind. Small groups were never a problem, rather a privilege.
Seeing that it was time for the lesson to begin, he left his place on the desk and leant against it instead, crossing his arms casually. "Well, welcome to today´s lesson." he said. "I thought since we do have some of the classical stuff to cover anyways and students usually complain about not understanding Shakespear and things like that, we might just need a new approach. And that´s what we´re going to try today." He straightened and clapped his hands, looking almost like a school boy, eager for some action. "All right. I already passed around today´s working material. You´ll find different excerptsof works by Shakespeare on your desks. We could... merely go ahead and analyse it, but that´d be rather boring, wouldn´t it? Instead I want you to translate it. As in, translate it into something modern. Make it a rap, a modern day poem, a talkshow monolog, whatever you like. Most importantly, put some sense into it, the sense that you see in it." He looked around. "Any questions?" he asked.
