Benjamin had decided that he would carry his luggage up to the stairs himself. He had been reading a book for most of the time, barely paying attention to those around him. He was a very light packer as he figured that stores around here would have what he needed.
The ever so soft smell of a expensive cologne danced lightly on the students noses as he passed by them. Benjamin stuck out almost too easy with his very nicely pressed suit and his perfectly creased pants.
He was reading a book as he had two bags with him, one that was lightly over his arm and the other that he was holding with the other hand. His eyes would ever so often glance up, and then he would readjust his course as he needed to. Though there was little need to adjust his course as most of the students were nice enough to move out of the way of him, he would side step the ones who didn't seem him or who were on a cell phone talking. He was always cautious of those around him, after all it was only respectful.
The man walked with a sway in his step that sort of let you know that he had confidence. He was well groomed and maintained. The book in which he had his nose so tightly buried was something to deal with the eastern panda civilization. He was reading it, and found it oddly interesting for a change, he rarely read those types of books as they lacked the sort of grasp to keep his attention for more than an hour.
Benjamin slowly opened the door with his back as he turned and rolled and looked around. He closed his book and looked around the halls, the art work, it was a good first impression. His eyes looked not at the people around him, but at the structure and the art that seemed to hang on the walls, the very texture that came from the walls. He had heard about he type of buildings that were in England and had always wanted to visit it, but never had the time.
He looked at a student who was passing him by "Excuse me?" he didn't notice that she had a blue tooth in her ear and was talking with someone. She sort of shrugged him off. he had a book in the front compartment of his carry on bag; he opened it and looked at it as if he was looking at some sort of puzzle. He looked at the artwork again, he was captivated by it, he smiled as he looked at a few of the students, he was only being polite, then his face went back to being scowled.
He looked at a book, took out a pen and with a soft 'click' he began to scratch off a few things his list as he slowly ran his finger along the etched words in the notepad that he had scribbled down before. He had stood there as he was looking in one direction and turned the other way, his hand came out narrowed and parallel to the door he just came in. He said softly "I believe" a pause in-between his words made him sound uncertain "it's this way to the dorms" he was heading in the completely opposite direction, but that was neither here nor there as he knew that he would eventually find his way around. He was sure that the markings on the wall would direct in him the steady path that he should be on.
Benjamin stood there a moment or two more as if contemplating his decision to go down this way and he rubbed his chin as he snapped the book closed. He put the pen back into the holding on the side and then picked up both of his bags.
