OUTFIT
Apollo loved food. He is a guy and guys love food. He often would be found in his kitchen at home, stuffing his face with practically everything in the house. His poor mom would have to go shopping frequently to ensure that there would be food for the other kids to have. But with all this eating, it made him a bit self conscious and he developed a bit of an OCD with exercising right after he ate a ton. Not full on jogging and all that jazz, mostly just sit ups and push ups and occasionally jumping jacks.
He wasn't sure whether to be happy or offended that he had been placed at the food stand. He was happy because he could eat all the food and the workers wouldn't care if he took it all, because he was the worker. Though, he was slightly offended as he assumed that he was placed there because the people in charge thought he was fat. Well. He would show them with his intense ab workout after his shift was over.
He sat himself up on a counter that was obviously behind the actual counter of the booth and waited for people to come and talk to him or his partner to arrive. Casually he leaned over and took some fries that had already been prepared...obv.

Blah fair food. Raine hatted it with a passion. It was the most junk she had seen in a while for food. It was all greasy and just disgusting in her view. But she was working here and with some person named Apollo. She had no idea who that was but she would soon find out.
She hopped behind the counter to see who she assumed to be Apollo sitting on it. "You know I wouldn't call that great advertisement," she stood a little behind him, arms crossed. If she got a job else where she would be fine but here was where she was. She would make the best of it. "I'm assuming you're Apollo. I'm Raine."
She watched him steal a fry as she had come in. Men. Of course she wasn't going to eat any of it right now or ever if she could help it. It wasn't that she didn't like it it was the fact that it was all so greasy, nearly dripping. That was the part she didn't like. But she would have to serve people so she put a smile on her face and moved on.

Apollo turned around when he heard Raine. She looked like the kind of person he would hit on and try and hook up with. In his eyes, she was a 'common pretty'. He had seen blondish wavy hair girls all over and Raine seemed like just another one. Her attitude was a bit of a roadblock in his plan to hit on her. He had deemed her as a drunk-only hookup, in his mind.
He rolled his eyes at her as she spoke. "I don't care." He said firmly, turning back to eat some more. He was working there for one night and only one shift, they couldn't fire him for having a few 'snacks', not that he really cared about being fired. He had only taken this job for extra gas money. "Okay," He shrugged as she introduced herself. He wanted to be a bit cold to her after she had commented on his work ethics, but he could hear his parents talking to him in his head and telling him not to be rude. Maybe some of their attempts to control him had worked. "Hi. Yeah, I'm Apollo." He seemed annoyed with himself that he had spoken to her, so he tightened his mouth and looked away.
"How do you want to do this?" He asked. "How bout you cook and I serve." He wanted to get out of doing the most work. And he was pretty good with people normally. If he wanted to be. "Yeah. You cook and I'll serve." He said again, this time with more certainty as if this was how it was supposed to be. He was unsure about how she would be for convincing, so he lied. "That's what they told me before you came. So I guess we have to do that." He shrugged again to try and make it more believable.

"You should really be a little more courteous and less chauvinistic." Came a cheerful call in an Irish brogue, as Eoin decided that, after wandering the carnival aimlessly for a few minutes, he needed a snack. Of course, Eoin was one of those people who spoke his mind, no matter who had or hadn't asked for it. So of course he was going to comment upon Apollo's behavior. A smile of mirth curved only the corners of his lips upwards, as his blue eyes glimmered in a reflection of his good mood.
"'Course, who am I to judge?" He added, after a small but perceptible pause. Just enough to take the worst of the bite off his words. His attire for the day seemed at odds with his mood; a black t-shirt which wasn't quite skin-tight with the word "Pantera: Cowbows From Hell" emblazoned above an image of a skeletal man riding a skeletal bull, the former wearing a Stetson hat and firing an overlarge machine gun. A pair of loose black jeans, only held onto his slim waist by a notched and worn leather belt. And finally, his combat boots, torn and scuffed but still wearable.
Even though he was hungry, Eoin was more interested in the prospect of a quick chat. He was, after all, a new face around here. Thus, his (poorly) executed attempt at a conversation hung in the air, as he simply waited from a response from either of the two concession workers.

Raine laughed at Apollo. "No they said we work together," she smiled and moved up front. "Which means we both cook and we both serve." She was standing up by the counter when someone came over. His comment made her smile more.
She leaned against he the counter. Her back was to the people walking by, she held no interest in them. She wasn't even interested in being here herself but she couldn't help it. "Okay seeing as we both have to work who goes first," she pulled a coin out of her pocket. "Flip a coin?"

"Noo, you came late," Apollo said, trying to stand in front of Raine at the cash counter, so the customers would come to him. "They said before you got here that that was how it was going to be." He insisted. He really did not want to cook. And wasn't it a woman's job to cook? He figured she would be a natural. If anything he was helping her out in her quest to become a greater woman.
Apollo looked up at Eoin and grinned. "What did you want to order?" He asked him, trying to ignore Raine as much as possible. "We have pizza. It's really good." He said, though he really was only judging from the look of the pizza. He would have to try it later, of course. But it did look good.
"We could just have Raine here make you something else if you'd like," He offered as he gestured to Raine. "She's a lovely chef." Normally, compliments helped convince people to do things his way so he chose this route with Raine. "I like your shirt," Apollo said, looking back up at Eoin. It wasn't something Apollo would wear, but he liked to think that he would go for that style of clothing. The only black clothing he owned were dress clothes and a hoodie. Maybe a few undershirts.

"Thank you." Eoin responded, gazing at the boy with a slightly raised eyebrow. "And a lovely chef, is she? No offense to the lassie, but I'll take your word for it. I will, however, take a slice of that pizza you mentioned." Ah, carnie goodness. Artery-clogging delight, Eoin thought with a mental grin. But it was food, and he was hungry.
As he waited, he glanced to Raine. Women seemed infinitely more interesting than men, especially to this teenager. Why? Because he didn't understand a thing about them. And he had a mind to. Besides, after his first impression of Apollo, Eoin didn't really find himself thinking that he like the boy. Perhaps nothing large in the scale of things; Eoin wasn't entirely a likable person himself. But there was something about Apollo that rubbed Eoin the wrong way.
"And some paper towels if you have them." He amended his order, finally casting an eye over some of the food. A heart attack waiting to happen, he mused. The paper towels, originally intended for cleaning up after himself, might actually be used simply to sponge the worst of the liquefied grease from his slice of pizza.

Apollo was kind and actually went to get Eoin his food and napkins. "Here, thanks," He said as he handed it to him. He was pretty relieved that his shift was over, mostly because now he was free to go hit on girls at other booths. "It's been a pleasure working with you Raine," He said sarcastically as he gathered his things.
He double checked the schedule to make sure that he was leaving at the right time. That's when he saw who was taking shift two. He immediately postponed his girl scouting to wait for Simona to get there. Apollo obviously wanted to say hi and...well he wasn't really sure why he wanted to stay as much as he did, but he did so anyway.

Aries sighed and pushed back his white hair beneath the hood, then pulled the hood down to cast its shadow again and spare him the intensely irritating sunlight. It wasn't outright painful, but it was a bit uncomfortable, like his skin was peeling beneath its glare. His tight jeans were littered with butterflies and his shoes were a pair of purple ankle boots with a similar theme, disappearing underneath the flair of the pants. His sweater was a bit looser than normal to allow him to roll up the sleeves better when he was working so he wouldn't have them in his way, in case he needed the hood to stay up during his shift.
An easy mistake for a girl, yet again, Aries was some sort of short, too. Even with the slight heels on the boots, he was standing a modest 5'5". His white hair was pushed back behind his ears, leaving his pale white face framed mostly by the hood that fell around it and putting a distinct emphasis on those vivid violet eyes.
As he stepped up to the booth, he noticed the boy and girl working there, and the place seemed fairly slow. It was a good thing, too, since he hadn't gotten much training as this was a simple set-up event, and he had no idea what was actually required of him. The freezer full of pizza and hot dogs and corn dogs and the various cooking mechanisms seemed to speak for themselves, but one never really knew, he supposed.

It was probably not the best idea for Simona to have signed up for the carnival, what with her track record of talking to people. She wasn't unpleasant by any means, but she was completely shy and did have that annoying tendency to switch between languages without warning. Added to that, she was far too timid to deal with anyone who wasn't just as nice as she was, so really, this could end up being a problem.
But Simona had just felt rude not signing up, so she had taken the chance and done the right thing. Which was how she came to be threading her way through the crowd, shoulders hunched against the noise and activity, toward the food booth. When she finally made it, she breathed a small sigh of relief. Carnivals were all well and good, but navigating them alone was just stressful.
"Hello," she said softly to the general population of the food booth, pleased that the word was in English. She gave a shy smile and ducked shyly behind her hair. She wasn't sure which she was working with and she hadn't really given herself time to see who everyone was, just in case she was intimidated before she even got behind the booth.

Apollo grinned when he saw Simona. But his smile was a little bit big so he tried to hide it and just play it cool. He wasn't exactly sure why he was so happy to see her or why he had even waited around for her but he had done both and that's that. He couldn't be bothered with trying to figure what his problem was right now, as she was standing right in front of him.
"Hey Simona," He said, smiling a bit. "I didn't know you were working here...next." Which was obviously a lie as he had checked before. "Do you need any extra help? I mean, I could stick around while I wait for my friend to get off his shift...if you want. I don't really have much else to do....well I do...but...I can...Yeah." He didn't want her to think he was a loser who had nothing better to do than hang around his work after work. And by friend he meant Aiden and Aiden was not working, so he'd be waiting for like his entire lifetime.
He wasn't exactly sure when he had claimed Simona as 'his' in his mind, but it clearly had happened and he realized that he would be pissed if someone else tried to hook up with her. Not that he would ever show his jealousy at this moment. And besides, he's not jealous. Obvs.

As the small albino approached closer, he noticed another girl out of the corner of his eye and was a bit daunted by how totally and obviously her aura seemed to grasp the working boy's and drag his jaw to the floor. Aries smiled a soft smile, standing back a moment as not to interrupt and walking around to get behind the booth instead. He pondered the idea of that effect ever happening for him, the jaw-dropping, mind splitting process of interacting with him for a certain someone. He slipped in behind the curtain at the back, obscured and easily missed to get the place ready.
He figured a few more pizzas could be put in the little oven thing and then placed up on the various warmers... and he could probably successfully get some hot dogs into their little cooker thing without disturbing the cute couple, but the corn dogs would have to wait, as they were right beside the tall boy and his significant other.
