[Beige]Wednesday afternoon reached. The first day of classes for Kirk Trey have ended and it was about three thirty in the afternoon. Kirk has gotten a good night's rest the night before and was wide awake for the new day. He had successfully switched his clock around by several hours to match the local time.
Kirk Trey went directly to his dorms and left his backpack there and opened his trunk at the end of his bed. He pulled out a game he has been dying to play again. Risk, a game of conquering the world. It was a long game, but it was fun and it allowed him to relax. Kirk smiled and took the box to him to the Recreation Room in the Living Quarters.
He sat on an empty couch and sat the game box on the table in front of him. Then he realized something, he knew nobody to play the game with. His mind just wanted to play it. So he sighed and grabbed the remote off the table and clicked on the television. He flipped through the channels quickly and ran into a rerun of Torchwood. Kirk left it there and repositioned himself on the couch.
Within seconds he kicked off his shoes and brought his feet up on the couch as he watched the television show, sighing and relaxing before he needed to do the homework he was assigned for that night. He had no smile on his face, and sat there with his legs crossed in front of him. His right leg folded up, and his left leg laying to its side. Kirk then zipped up his jacket. Even though it was perfect weather for people here, it was freezing cold to him. This entire place felt freezing cold.
A girl walked behind him talking loudly on her phone, Kirk couldn't help but to overhear what she was saying. She talked about the dream world. Kirk heard of this dream world but thought it was just some kind of joke. What is it with people and this so called dream world? he asked himself. Kirk shifted his attention back to the television show as soon as the girl was out of ear range. [/Beige]

Adelaide made her way down the hallways, school was over. Her body and mind seemed to relax as the clocked ticked, the hand reaching the last minute of her last class, then on cue, the bell rang. She had jumped from her seat, with only a notebook in hand, the bright blue pen tucked away into the spiral biding that held the pages together. As she left the class, through the open door way, she decided she would stop by the recreation room for a bit before going back to her dorm.
She didn't have any plans, it was only a Wednesday, but she was hoping to find something to do, or maybe even someone to make plans with for the rest of the day. She didn't want to be alone, she rarely ever did. She saw the door to the recreation room just ahead, and she smiled. Each step brought her closer, until she stood directly in front of it. Pressing the notebook against her chest with one arm, the other reached out to open the door in front of her. Her eyes looked around quickly as she walked in. Only a couple of people resided, but she assumed more probably would once the hallways cleared and more people had left their classes and dropped off their books at their dorms or elsewhere.
Smiling at the girl who passed by on her phone, she looked toward the couch at the other person. He was alone, and looked bored, his legs curled on the couch, a box on the table in front of him. She couldn't help but read it, Risk. A board game, but he had no one to play it with him. She grinned, walking over to him. "Hi." She spoke cheerfully, as always, before sitting next to him, with a reasonable amount of space between the two. Before looking in his direction, she placed her notebook on the table beside his game, then took her shoes off and brought her feet on the couch under her.
Taking a pillow from far side of the couch, that had been resting against the arm, she placed it in her lap, hugging it close to her body. She seemed to always be cold, no matter what the weather, or temperature in a room. Some people said it was because she was so thin, she needed to get some meat on her bones, I can't tell you how sick of hearing that she was... And others thought being so cold was the reason she was so skinny. The body works harder to warm you up when you're cold, and that works off a lot, especially when you're freezing twenty four seven, like Adelaide.

[Beige]Kirk continued to sit on the couch, waiting slowly for something that would never happen. He sighed again, deciding after the television show ends he would get up and go do his dorm room and get his homework done and do more exploring of this new school. He zipped up his coat as it felt the room got cooler. He just stared mindlessly at the television.
He changed his leg position again, which was exactly what it was before but with opposite legs. Now his left leg was up toward his chest and his right leg flat. He crossed his wrists and rested them on top of his left leg as he continued to watch the television.
"What the hell?!" Kirk remarked dropping the remote and half shouting at the television when an explosion occured. "Who the hell does that?!" He continued. Mister Kirk Anthony Trey was perhaps a little too invested into his television shows. He sighed, as he leaned forward to pick up the remote and went to sit it on top of the game box. He realized a new item was on the table. A notebook.
Kirk turned his head and saw a girl on the other end of the couch, with a pillow being hugged across her chest. Kirk smiled softly, "Oh sorry about that." He spoke in his American accent. He leaned forward and grabbed the remote off of the game box. He then leaned toward the girl on the other side of the coach, extending his left arm and remote, "Feel free to change the channel." His smile remained as he held the remote up, gently. [/Beige]

She giggled at his reaction to the show on the television across from the two of them. It had effected him so much that he dropped the remote in his outburst. She figured he had been too immersed in the show, that he hadn't realized her coming in, or her friendly hello. He reached down to get the remote, and when he placed it on the table, she noticed him pause and look at the notebook, taking him a few seconds longer than usual to lay the remote down. Then he turned to her. She met him with a friendly smile, still holding back a bit of laughter at his reaction.
His appology was spoken in the accent of an American, and that only made her smile more. Being in England, it was rare to hear American accents, and she thought they were absolutely adorable. In his outburst, she hadn't even noticed, but now as he directed his words more calmly toward her, she couldn't help but smile in excitement. She nodded that it was all right, but she was sure he could tell she was fine with it by her own reaction. A smile that reached her sparkling blue eyes, giggling... So there really was no need for the words. Though, even if she had wanted to say something about it, he hadn't given her the time to.
He grabbed the remote once more, and leaned toward her, extending the remote in her direction. "Feel free to change the channel." How kind of him, though she had to decline his very polite offer. She didn't really care for television at the moment, and she didn't want to take him away from his show that he seemed to enjoy so much. So she shook her head. "No, no, it's alright." She flashed another smile in his direction, hugging the pillow tighter. "But thank you." Another smile, then a pause... "You're new here, right?" She hadn't seen him around, she definitely didn't know him at all, he had to be new. She noticed his zipped up coat, he looked just as uncomfortable as she did, that could mean two things... He had the same problem with being cold all the time, no matter how warm it was to others, like she did, or... he wasn't used to England's cold climate. Her eyes focused on his own smile, while she waited for an answer.

[Beige]Kirk Trey continued to hold his left arm up firmly with the remote fastened loosely in his hand, awaiting the girl from across the coach to take it. The girl replied within seconds, telling him he can keep his remote. She shot a smile at him, and his smile remained. Kirk nodded his head softly and quickly leaned back against the corner of the coach, his back resting against a half of the back of the coach and his wasit against part of the arm.
He sat the remote on his laugh and quickly turned his head back to the television, with his eyes darting back to the girl he had just realized that was now sitting on the opposite side of the couch. Kirk caught her sweet, and wide smile, and tried to widen his a bit, partly successfully but not as much as he would have wanted. She asked a question, he smily nodded and he slowly turned his head toward her focusing on the girl across the coach, [/Beige][Teal]"Yeah. New here. Strange place and country to be in."[/Teal][Beige] Kirk's smile weakened.
[/Beige][Teal]"You have to bow to a queen here? Simply wow,"[/Teal][Beige] he remarked in surprise to a fact he found out earlier that day. He was not used to respecting anyone, he cared less about royalty, because back at home there were no kings and queens. [/Beige][Teal]"But! Anyway, Hi. I'm Tony. Random. And er...a nut possibly?"[/Teal][Beige]
The girl that was in the room just a moments before talking loudly and obnoxiously on her cell phone passed by again and stood in front of the television this time. She continued to talk while Kirk was trying to watch this television show and curiously spy on the girl across from him. Kirk looked up at the interruption and waited a few seconds patiently before an outburst. [/Beige][Teal]"Excuse me? Freaken get out of the way."[/Teal][Beige] Kirk's voice was demanding, but still calm. That girl just annoyed him. His smile quickly faded. Perfect introduction he was making.
For a teenager Kirk was pretty calm. But there a re a few things that just pitched his nerves quickly, just like that obnoxious teenager that was standing infront of the television speaking loudly. She looked at him with a look of digust, in return Kirk just stuck out his tongue. He cared less what Miss Popular had to say on her cell phone. At least the girl left his view and just walked out of the Recreation Room. [/Beige][Teal]"About time,"[/Teal][Beige] he muttered.[/Beige]
