Chad slowly walked into the school and stood in the middle of the room looking around the dead stillness. Wow, it hasn't been this quiet for a while... He walked forward to a set of stairs and sat on the bottom, leaning against the wall. As he sat their quietly he pulled out his i-pod and put on the headphones, turning on whatever was there. Chad put the volume up loud enough for him to drown out any surrounding noises.
He had found a good spot to rest, at least that was his opinion. Chad pulled his arms behind his head and closed his eyes relaxing for a little. Sure the place might had not been a good one for others but nobody was out there anyway. What should he worry about?

Frankie wasn't really the type of person to actually talk to people, but when brought in front of someone she knew, she wasn't really all too quiet. Especially if she was irritated, as she was now. The stupid woman at the stupid register at the stupid drugstore had insisted on being...well stupid, and now Frankie was in no better mood for it.
She was stomping around, a little bit violently, until, entering the main hall, she almost stomped on something she recognized. Doing a double take, she retraced her stomps and looked down at the lone figure.
"Oh, hey, Chad," she said, looking miffed. So that he wouldn't think she was preparing to rip his face off, she turned her glare toward the wall. After a few seconds of awkward glowering, she shuffled about and moved to sit next to him, bringing her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. Had she known him a little bit better [okay, a lot better. Frankie was still socially awkward], she might have taken one of his headphones for her own listening pleasure. As it was, she was pretty proud of herself for even sitting down.
"..What's up?" she tried, almost pleasantly. Almost.

Chad continued listening to the music bored out of his mind. I wonder where Frankie is... As he thought of what she could be doing, he noticed a shadow of a figure consuming him. He looked up a little freaked out, thinking that whoever it was hadn't seen him.
As he stared at the figure he finally recognized who it was. He noticed her expression was a little irritated. What happened? Did I do something wrong? To try to ease the tension, he smiled slightly almost looking guilty.
"Uh... Hey Frankie. Something wrong?" He watched her look away. What did I do this time? As she sat down next to him, Chad pulled off his headphones so he'd not look too rude. If he had done something might as well not make it any worse.
"..What's up?" He turned his gaze to her and grinned, "Not much... Just trying not to get stepped on." he joked

She glanced over at him and flashed him a shy smile. It wasn't every day that someone knew her name right off the bat and even less often that she found the courage [or the desire] to sit next to them. And, of course, he probably thought she wanted to kick his butt, what with all of the glaring she was doing. She really needed to tone that down.
"Not really," she said, giving a little awkward chucklesnort thing. "Just the cashier when I went to get vitamins." Because everyone needed their daily dose of vitamins.
At the mention of stepping on, she blushed and glanced at him awkwardly. She never really considered herself scary, but she supposed anyone was when they were looking as angry as she guessed she had.
"Aha...sorry," she mumbled.

He listened to her answer, trying to hold himself back from laughing at her awkward chucklesnort. He hadn't heard that before. "Oh." he paused to muffle a laugh, "What was it about?"
His eyes were still locked on her nervously, he didn't know her enough to think of what might happen next. Her awkward glance didn't help too much either. I hope to god she isn't going to lash out on me.
"Aha...sorry," she mumbled. "Oh no big deal. I'm kind of in the wrong place to relax anyway." He looked down to his headphones and pulled them up to her sight. "Want to listen to some music? It can help sometimes." He wasn't really thinking, just trying to ease any tension that may be there.

Had she not been so flushed with irritation, she might have found it insanely a bit unnerving that he was staring at her. As it was, she was just a little bit concerned with it, not at all about to run away, though. He did, after all, have reason to stare at her; she was acting like a loon.
"Music?" she asked, a little alarmed, and glanced at his headphones. Music was nice. SHe could totally do a friendly bout of music. "If you don't mind..What are you listening to?" She didn't want to make judgments already, but she sort of had the feeling it was something she wasn't going to enjoy.
Oh well. No one can have everything out of life. That was why she was cranky right now anyway, wasn't it?

"No. I don't mind. Why wold I be asking?" he handed her the headphones and looked at the little screen to see what was playing.
"Uh... Right now it is on Guns and Roses (Welcome to the Jungle.) I like the older rock songs but I do have a radio on there if you don't like that sort of music." he replied.
"So would it be any trouble to ask what happened?" He almost held up his arms to shield himself, but she couldn't be mad enough to lash out at him. Atleast he hoped.

[[Noo big, I def failed at replying. xDDD]]
"Oh, no, that's fine," she said, pleased that it was not something like DEATH METAAAAL. She accepted the headphone and wedged it into her ear, glad to have something mildly distracting other than the conversation. While talking was all well and good, music was far easier.
"If you want to hear it...." she said, trailing off in that way that girls do when they secretly REALLY want to be asked about something but don't want to seem desperate. Frankie enjoyed ranting, whether she liked conversing or not, and really, that woman had been stupid.
She glanced at Chad out of the corner of her eye and, for the first time, gave a little grin.

"Okay." he smiled before turning away to stare at the wall. He had been really tired lately and was starting to drift off to sleep. He shook himself before turning back to her with a guilty smile. The music was the only thing keeping him awake but now he couldn't rely on that.
He continued to look around before hearing her reply. He stared at her with his head tilted to the side for a second. "If you want to tell it." he returned. With another grin. He continued to stare before seeing her grin as well. "Don't think I've ever seen you smile before." he answered before catching what he had said, "Not that I mean you are emotionless or anything." he rubbed the back of his head and smiled again. She seemed to have a way to cause him to show his other side [which was very rare].

She gave a little teeny snort of amusement. She wasn't emotionaless, per se, but she was shy, so she could see how she might never have actually smiled around someone before. Fortunately, she did tend to smile a lot, so he'd probably end up seeing it more.
"Ha, yeah," she said before rapidly launching into her story.
"So, I was going to buy vitamins, right? And this woman started telling me that I was doing it wrong." She spread her hands out in the universal 'wtf' gesture, looking peeved at the thought. "Like, HOW do you buy vitamins wrong? And for that matter, who is to say that some stupid cashier knows which vitamins I need better than I do?! And she was just going ON and ON and ON and it was like OKAY, LADY, SHUT UP NOW." She scowled.

Chad put his hand over his mouth to muffle a laugh. "Your not serious are you? Who would be so stupid to do that?" he paused as he imagined how it went on. "I'm not too sure how you can buy vitamins wrong. Guess the cashier just had a bad day or something."
((Sorry I've got terrible writers block.))
