PLAY-BY: >>appearance
Standing at five foot four, Lily isn't very large at all. She's slender and willowy, very petite and not muscular at all. She can't exactly exercise, considering she is so clumsy, so she is just sort of flimsy. But her tiny frame and pale sking give her a delicate prettiness that she takes full advantage of in her dress. Though she needs to dress with as much practicality as possible, she still tries to find the means to be slightly chic. She usually wears things like sundresses and skirts. Nothing too loose or with too many extra layers as that is what causes accidents. She is also never seen in any heels [ever] or platforms taller than an inch.
Her eyes are sky blue and always peppy and cheerful. She doesn't wear too much makeup other than the general foundation/lipgloss combo, but her face looks just fine anyway, since she is very good at keeping up with her hygenics. Her ginger-brown hair is perfectly straight and falls just past her shoulders. She doesn't keep it up very often because she just can't be bothered, though it doesn't help her vision any and has occasionally caused excess injuries to be obtained.
She moves very, very carefully. There is not a staircase that she will take less than a full two or three minutes climbing, a hallway she won't walk slowly down, or a hill that she won't take extra precaution to cross. She has no qualms with being late to class--she's been injured frequently enough walking to and from the teacher's desk for most teachers to realize that it was a professional hazard. She frequently stands as though she is expecting to be attacked by a mob, which could be alarming to those who don't fully grasp how clumsy she really is.personality
Be it cosmic retribution or simply bad luck, Lily is absolutely the most accident prone human being she has ever come across. She cannot walk up or down a flight of stairs without tripping at least once, across a room without bumping into something, down the street without stubbing her toe, etc. If something is around to injure her, it will, no matter how ridiculous the circumstances seem. Lily just attracts bad luck. She gets injured so frequently that she barely notices it any more, so now she has a super high tolerance for pain. The only problem she sees is the amount of time she goes around sporting bandages and bruises and scars.
Despite the fact that Lily can't walk two feet without hurting herself, she is always neverendingly cheerful. Nothing brings her down, unless it is actually quite sad. The onyl downside is that she is very empathetic, so when other people are sad, she's sad. Fortunately, she has the type of cheerfulness that rubs off on other people. She's so cute that most people can't help but smile when she's around. The type of person to stand outside with a free hugs sign, she is always there to give anyone who needs it a shoulder to cry on and then giggle until they are happy again.
Someone who gets injured as often as she does has to have at least a little bit of motivation to make it through the day. Otherwise, they wouldn't bother getting out of bed. So yes, Lily does have that sort of determination that it takes to make sure that she does not die/become incapacitated daily, but that determination also stems to other aspects of her life. When she sets her mind to something, be it ridiculous or logical, she has set her mind to it and it will not go undone. And, if she promises to help someone, that someone can bet that they will be assisted to the best of her abilities. She will not leave something without seeing it through [and if it is impossible, she is very likely to cry].
Positive Traits:
Friendly Lily does not care who someone is, she will walk right up to them and introduce herself. She loves making friends and being in the crowd and having people to talk to, considering she talks. A lot.
Giggly Some people may find this annoying and childish, but it's really because Lily is just generally a happy person. As such, she is prone to fits of giddiness which lead to her giggle. Which is really quite endearing.
Excitable It is pretty easy to make Lily happy. She gets excited over little things like candy and music and pianos and musicians.
Understanding One of the reasons she is so good at making friends is that she is very good at understanding people and giving them advice. She is always there for you, even if she accidentally talks more than listens.
Negative Traits:
Moment Ruiner Plenty of people might not label this as an actual personality trait, but Lily most definitely does. She has the terrible, horrible habit of not being able to shut her mouth when it is most important to do so and, if there is any sort of moment going on, be it her own or someone else's, she will most likely ruin it.
Spazzy Lily is an epic spaz. This goes hand in hand with how excitable she is; sometimes, she just gets TOO excited. She is likely to flail. And then injure herself.
Talkative She's not really good at shutting up. At all. Ever. She is a pretty good listener and advice giver, but she hardly ever manages to stop talking to do either of those things.family & history
FATHER: Reginald; 52
MOTHER: Dahlial; 49
SIBLINGS: None
OTHER FAMILY: Coming Soon
HISTORY:
The only remarkable thing about herself and her family [other than the clumsiness that stems from god knows where] that Lily would ever be able to think of is the sad, tragic fact that the entirety of her maternal side of the family is named after flowers. Her mother, Dahlia, has four sisters, all with various floral names and their children are as named after vegetation as possible. Lily lucked out with her name, which was semi-normal, and a middle name that was completely non-related [for which she has her father to thank].
Other than that, her life is pretty normal. She grew up in Capeside as an only child with her father the accountant and her mother the nanny. As a child, she always had richer friends because she played with the children that her mother took care of and that was just how it was. When she got older, she started helping her mother with the children. Because she had been helping, when Lily turned thirteen, her mother was able to open an actual daycare, which had always been her dream. It generated a fair amount of income and, soon, they had actual employees that were unrelated to the flowering family [though, since plenty of Dahlia's sisters lived nearby with their families, plenty of the workers were flowered].
Unlike most people her age, Lily already had a steady job, though it was difficult to handle, since she was far more prone to accidents than any of the toddlers she was in charge of. It was only because she had at least cousin assigned to her at all times that she was able to make it. Luckily, she was excellent with children, and so she was a great asset to the daycare itself, so long as the parents didn't realize that half of their tuition money went to purchasing new first aid kits to replace the ones that Lily consistently went through.
It had never been too difficult for Lily to get around school when she was younger because she always had those overprotective male cousins that would help her out. However, when she graduated eighth grade, her mother decided that she could afford Somnium Academy and her father decided that it was a good idea. Lily, having no problem with the school itself, was delighted at the chance to have a nice, rigorous curriculum. Her only problem was the lack of strength she was going to have. Though, so far, she has managed and she hopes to continue managing.dream form
The Swan Princess. Only not really the swan princess, that is just the closest way to describe it. Since she is so not graceful in real life, she gets to be as graceful as a swan in her dreams. She doesn't turn into a swan unless she's completely stressed, but her human form is far more graceful and serene than usual.
