Lula is a willowy little creature, all long legs and delicate pianists fingers. She is tiny though, barely topping off at 5 feet and slightly self conscious of it. Her hair is a bright red, even while wet, and her skin is so light it's transparent, giving a curious onlooker a good map of a Water Nymph circulatory system. Her choice of clothes is usually fairly flamboyant. She adores ruffles, feathers, and sequins and her outfits have all of them.
Tallulah's natural habitat is under water, but the most curious thing is that, if one were to meet her outside of the water, her appearance would not change. Her hair and clothes float as if she were still underwater, no matter the surroundings.personality
Lula is an optimist to the core, every day is rainbows and teddy bears and she likes expressing this to everyone else. Sometimes this presents a problem as she has trouble relating to other people's problems. It's not that she wouldn't like to, it's just that she simply can't comprehend the feeling. She'll try to make you feel better though, usually by dragging you off to her underwater circus.
One thing that can dampen her mood is when kids graduate. She attaches herself to the students through the four years they're in Somnium since no other water nymphs live in her part of the sea. She treats the students like her own children and it injures her every time they leave. She also hates holidays because it means they have to go, even for a short bit. She gets lonely all by herself in her part of the ocean, that's the one sad thing she understands perfectly.
Thus, in her own bright sunny way, she's decided that she'll make sure no one else has to be lonely, and has taken it upon herself to match up everyone she sees. Most of the time she has a knack for realizing matchability, but when she's off, she's really off. Like the time she convinced herself a poor boy was gay and wouldn't believe otherwise. The child was scarred enough that his dream form sprouted a skirt.family & history
Tallulah can never remember having a family, as a matter of fact, she's never met another water nymph such as herself at all. She's heard of others, of course. The Dream World is a big place, but she's never actually seen one. This really isn't an oddity in the sea nymph world. They're known for laying their eggs in a specific spot and leaving them there until they hatch. Technically, they're supposed to come back to get her, but they never showed. It's okay though, She was raised by a small pod of lovely seahorses and a turtle she still calls Grandfather. They all live in a part of the sea with a giant, submerged circus at the bottom.
Lula took it upon herself from very early on to keep the circus in running order by politely asking the plant life not to corrode the inner workings. Once every year she'll raise the circus out of the water and invite everyone for a play day.
Every once in a while Tallulah will leave the sea and wander around the dream world, in search for other water nymphs. There really isn't any rhyme or reason to it, she just kind of picks a direction and walks. She has yet to find anything, but, of course, she's still optimistic.
