GROUP: Dream Being
SPECIES: Witch
OCCUPATION: The Maiden

PLAY-BY: Diana Vickersappearance
Ness carries many of the physical features that you might expect of the Maiden; long blonde hair, bashful smile, slim form. She styles her hair very wildly, and has it all over the place in attempt to give it that authentic ‘witch’ look.
Nessie has a very diverse wardrobe. She’s got dresses, rags, even a few robes. She favours a high cut black dress normally. During proper Coven events though, she insists on wearing the traditional Maiden colour: white. For those occasions, she has a long flowing dress, with a modern touch in the cap.personality

Booky
Nessie adores reading, and learning new facts. She’s practically a walking encyclopaedia, a handy source of obscure and utile knowledge in situations where wisdom and experience isn’t enough.
Shy
As the Maiden, it is Nessie’s natural disposition to stay out of the limelight. When there are men about, she’ll either be lurking in the corner, behind one of the others, or just shuffling her feet and blushing a vivid red. She looks up to the two as her superiors, and still learns a lot about life and witchcraft, despite knowing a lot more than them in factual matters.
Fickle
Nessie’s a bit too clingy. She disagrees with some of the pranks that the others want to pull, but she does secretly admit she likes it; after all, it’s only a bit of (mainly) harmless fun. In fact, when considering her moral 'alignment' as it were, she would be somewhere between good, evil and neutral, as professional witches tend to be. She loves the Coven, it’s been her only home for centuries, and would never abandon them.
Intuitive
If there’s one thing she’s good for, it’s logic. While her sisters are quick witted and can solve many a situation with what they have learnt over the years, Ness’ reasoning acts as the safety net for the ones they just can’t figure out.
Feisty
Behind all this mousy exterior, there is a trap waiting to be sprung. Whilst not the most powerful of the Coven, Nessie has fire in her blood to be unleashed on any louse who gets a little too enthusiastic. In fact, she’s caused a number of barroom brawls, before being dragged out in a ball by the Mother.family & history

Posters of the sea and land
Nessie was born to loving parents, an only child. She learnt from an early age that she had a power over nature that she could control with focus and training. However, in a freak storm of catastrophic proportions, her entire village was destroyed. A nearby community took her in (she had been out walking on the moors during the storm and survived), and the local witch adopted Nessie. Her powers were trained up, and she was soon a skillful user of magic.
A century or so later, the witch’s children had all died off, mere mortals. A mother in the town had discovered she was a witch. Nessie's adoptive mother knew about the Power of Three (see Roleplay Requests for more), and contacted this mother.
Through the Power, Nessie's abilities were heightened to a greater level (though not as great as the others). The newly set-up Coven provided Demens and the rest of the Dream World with a powerful protection against peril. The Coven is somewhat considered 'morally grey' by Dreamers and Dream Beings due to their love of chaos, but there is a certainobsessive fan-club‘interest group’ who like to pretend that they too are witches.
Ok, no more charries for a looong time *straps down his character muse*
